Even an invite-only product has a hard cost — AI generation, image hosting, OTPs, servers. We are not raising money and not running ads. The fee exists to cover those costs so Carrel can stay alive long enough to prove itself. If costs come down or scale takes over, the price will reflect that.
Carrel compounds with consistency. Six months gives you a real horizon to build the habit, and it gives us enough runway to focus on the product instead of chasing renewal metrics.
Likely yes. The real monetization model is not yet decided. Founding members lock in today's price for as long as they keep renewing — that is our quiet thank-you for showing up early.

No. Carrel does not run ads, does not sell data, and does not track you across the web. Your subjects, notes and quiz history are private to you.
